博士生導(dǎo)師，博士，陜西省“三五”人才，國家現(xiàn)代蘋果產(chǎn)業(yè)技術(shù)體系崗位專家，西北農(nóng)林科技大學(xué)蘋果研究中心主任，陜西省蘋果工程技術(shù)研究中心主任，西北農(nóng)林科技大學(xué)白水蘋果試驗站首席專家。主要從事蘋果遺傳改良、新品種培育與種質(zhì)創(chuàng)新研究。

2.主要研究領(lǐng)域 Main Research Fields & Contents
以中國西北黃土高原為基石，緊密結(jié)合蘋果生產(chǎn)，探索與創(chuàng)新蘋果產(chǎn)業(yè)理論與技術(shù)的重大問題，主要包括4個研究方向：
① 蘋果遺傳改良、新品種培育與種質(zhì)創(chuàng)新；
② 蘋果優(yōu)異砧木資源搜集、評價與利用；
③ 旱地蘋果優(yōu)質(zhì)高效栽培理論與技術(shù)；
④ 蘋果品質(zhì)形成機理與質(zhì)量安全控制；
At present, main research fields of the scientific research innovation team include:
① Genetic improvements, breeding and germplasm innovation in apple;
② Collection, evaluation and utilization of good apple rootstock;
③ High yielding, excellent quality and high benefit cultivation theory and technique for apple orchard in dryland;

4.主要研究成果Academic achievements
團(tuán)隊多年來，一直致力于蘋果的理論與生產(chǎn)技術(shù)研究，以及蘋果產(chǎn)業(yè)化的試驗與推廣，建立了蘋果品種資源圃10余畝，收集、保存品種資源200余份；建立砧木資源圃6畝，收集國內(nèi)外蘋果實生及矮化砧木資源100余份。開展了大規(guī)模的蘋果雜交育種工作，獲得雜交實生苗8萬余株。建立有雜交優(yōu)系初選圃、復(fù)選圃和決選圃100余畝，目前復(fù)選優(yōu)系82個，決選優(yōu)系8個，審定品種7個，秦陽、瑞陽、瑞雪等優(yōu)良蘋果品種，已在生產(chǎn)上大面積推廣。
經(jīng)過多年探索，初步形成了中國蘋果現(xiàn)代高效育種理論技術(shù)體系。根據(jù)主要育種目標(biāo)，確定核心親本和骨干親本，按照“少組合、大群體”的基本思路，建立雜交后代群體，利用主要農(nóng)藝性狀相關(guān)性分析和分子標(biāo)記輔助育種技術(shù)進(jìn)行早期預(yù)先選擇，利用矮化砧嫁接初選單株，結(jié)果后進(jìn)行果實經(jīng)濟(jì)性狀選擇。
團(tuán)隊已經(jīng)在國內(nèi)外發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文200多篇，其中SCI論文15篇，出版著作5部。2007年度獲陜西省科學(xué)技術(shù)一等獎1項“無公害蘋果生產(chǎn)關(guān)鍵技術(shù)研究與示范”。2012年獲陜西省農(nóng)業(yè)推廣一等獎1項“蘋果提質(zhì)增效關(guān)鍵技術(shù)示范與推廣”，獲國家授權(quán)發(fā)明專利8項。
Prof. Zhao and his the scientific research innovation group have committed to establishing sustainable development of the apple industry in the Northwest Loess Plateau by breeding, improved varieties, rootstocks screening, improve quality, and extension of high efficient cultivation techniques. Collect apple cultivars from all over China and world, build more than 10 mu of orchard of apple germplasm resource which includes 200 cultivars. And on this basis they have obtained 82 trees of good strains by multiple selected plus from 8 ten thousands of crossed seedling in hundred mu of breeding nursery. It will be select 8 new varieties from among them.
They have published in total more than 200 academic papers including more than 15 SCI papers. They got one “First prize of Shaanxi province scientific and technological progress in research and demonstration of key technique for no-harmful apple production ” in 2007, and one “First prize of Shaanxi province agriculture extension in the demonstration and expansion of key technique for improve the quality and increase and economical benefit in apple" in 2012. In addition, they have awarded eight items of national patents.

團(tuán)隊由來自園藝學(xué)院、資源與環(huán)境學(xué)院等單位科教人員組成，依托國家重點學(xué)科果樹學(xué)、旱區(qū)作物逆境生物學(xué)國家重點實驗室和農(nóng)業(yè)部西北地區(qū)園藝作物生物學(xué)與種質(zhì)創(chuàng)制重點實驗室，西北農(nóng)林科技大學(xué)白水蘋果試驗站及甘肅慶城蘋果試驗站開展工作，形成了教授、副教授、講師和研究生為主的結(jié)構(gòu)合理的創(chuàng)新研究隊伍。
Team members from College of horticulture and College of Resource and Environment. We conduct the research supported by the key national discipline in Pomology, State key laboratory of crop stress biology for arid areas and Key Laboratory of Horticultural Plant Biology and Germplasm Innovation in Northwest China, Ministry of Agriculture, Shaaxi Baishui Apple Experimental Station and Gansu Qingcheng Apple Experimental Station. The research member includes Professor, Associate Professor, Young Lecturers and Graduate students.
