博士生導師，主要從事果實采后生理、成熟衰老分子基礎(chǔ)及果品貯藏保鮮、商品化處理技術(shù)等研究。

（1）果蔬成熟衰老、質(zhì)地軟化的分子基礎(chǔ)；（2）果蔬成熟衰老過程中生理生化及其超微結(jié)構(gòu)變化規(guī)律及特點；（3）果蔬采后生理病害及其控制；（4）果蔬采后侵染性病害及其控制；（5）果蔬采后商品化處理技術(shù)；（6）園藝產(chǎn)品貯藏保鮮新技術(shù)。

4.主要研究成果
（1）研究了柿、獼猴桃、蘋果等果實成熟軟化生理及分子機制、蘋果、梨、獼猴桃、桃、柿等采后主要生理病害及侵染性病害的病因及控制方法和果蔬采后商品化處理及貯藏保鮮新技術(shù)。發(fā)表論文300余篇，其中SCI論文30余篇，EI論文3篇，獲國家發(fā)明專利3項。
Academic achievements
（1）Our group have studied the ripening and softening mechanisms at physiological and molecular levels on the fruits of persimmon，kiwifruit，apple etc. The causes of major physiological and infectious diseases were identified and disease control methods were established. New technology of commercial processing, storage and fresh-keeping of fruits and vegetables were developed. We have published more than 300 academic papers totally including more than 30 SCI papers, in such as Frontiers in Plant Science, Food Chemistry, Postharvest Biology and Technology and so on. Three papers were published in the international journals which are indexed by EI. We have awarded three items of national patents.
