報(bào)告人簡(jiǎn)介：
Satish Kumar博士是新西蘭植物與食品研究所的首席科學(xué)家。在過(guò)去的30年里，他一直從事林木和水果作物的遺傳學(xué)和育種工作。他目前的研究重點(diǎn)是蘋果果實(shí)品質(zhì)性狀的遺傳結(jié)構(gòu)、分子育種策略和蘋果種質(zhì)保護(hù)。作為在越南合作的一部分，Satish Kumar博士最近領(lǐng)導(dǎo)了火龍果栽培品種的育種和商業(yè)化工作。
Dr Satish Kumar is a Principal Scientist at Plant & Food Research, New Zealand. Over the last 30 years, he has worked on the genetics and breeding of outbred crops such as forest trees and fruit crops. His current research focuses on the genetic architecture of apple fruit quality traits; molecular breeding strategies; apple germplasm conservation. As part of a collaboration in Vietnam, Satish recently led the breeding and commercialization of dragon fruit cultivars.
